Supersocial's Elf North Pole Workshop Wins Two Silver Awards at Collision Awards
We've got some fantastic news to share! Our Elf North Pole Workshop just won not one but TWO Silver awards at the Collision Awards. These awards celebrate the best in animation, so we're over the moon about this double win.
What exactly did we win? Our Roblox experience, created with our partners Fairview Portals and Warner Bros., earned Silver in two important categories:
- Best 3D/CG Animation in Games & XR
- Use of Metaverse in Games & XR
This double recognition is a massive deal for us. Our hard work in creating innovative, immersive experiences is paying off.
We built this experience to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie Elf. We wanted to do something special that would stand out, so we came up with some cool innovations.
We figured out how to make things look like stop-motion animation in Roblox - something that has yet to be done! We used special camera effects, created unique movement styles, and even got the "Elf" movie composer, John Debney, to create music for the game. All of this came together to make a holiday experience that felt truly magical.
Our CEO, Yon Raz-Fridman, is thrilled about these awards. He said, "Winning these two Silver awards shows how dedicated and creative our team is. We're so proud that we could bring 'Elf' to life in a new way. It's fantastic to see that people enjoy what we've created and that it brings a bit of kindness to the online world."
Here at Supersocial, we're always focused on devising new ways for brands to connect with people online. We’ve worked with beauty, fashion, and retail brands and now with big entertainment companies like Warner Bros. Our mission is to create boundary-pushing games and experiences that feel authentic and meaningful to brands and the Roblox community.
The Elf North Pole Workshop is an excellent example of what we can do. It's not just about making something that looks cool. We wanted to create a place where people could have fun together and spread some holiday cheer. In the game, you can become an elf, help Santa, and even give gifts to other players. It's all about bringing that warm, fuzzy holiday feeling to the online world.
We're not stopping here, though. We have more exciting projects coming up, and we can't wait to share them with you. If you want to stay in the loop, follow us on our website and social media. We'll share updates, behind-the-scenes peeks, and some sneak previews of what's next.
Thanks for celebrating these wins with us. It means a lot to have your support as we keep exploring what's possible in virtual worlds. Here's to more fun, more creativity, and more awards in the future!
